Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Earthstone Design & Build Ltd. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the agreement between Earthstone Design & Build Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the client (“you”, “your”) for the provision of general building and related services.
By accepting a quote or instructing us to begin work, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services Provided

Earthstone Design & Build Ltd provides general building and construction services including, but not limited to:

• Property renovations

• Home improvements

• Extensions and conversions

• Landscaping and outdoor construction

• General construction and building works

All services will be carried out with reasonable skill, care, and in accordance with industry standards.

3. Quotations & Pricing

• All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise.

• Quotes are based on the information provided and may be subject to change if the scope of work varies.

• Any additional work requested or required due to unforeseen circumstances will be quoted separately.

• All prices are inclusive/exclusive of VAT depending on the company’s VAT status.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide access to the property at agreed times.

• Ensure the site is safe and free from hazards not related to our work.

• Obtain any necessary planning permissions, approvals, or permits, unless otherwise agreed.

• Inform us of any relevant structural or environmental issues before work begins.

5. Changes to Project Scope

• Any changes requested after work has begun must be made in writing.

• Additional costs, materials, or labour resulting from changes will be added to the final invoice.

• Earthstone Design & Build Ltd reserves the right to pause work until revised agreements are confirmed.

6. Materials & Supply

• All materials supplied remain the property of Earthstone Design & Build Ltd until fully paid for.

• If the client supplies materials, the company is not responsible for defects, delays, or issues caused by those materials.

7. Work Schedule & Delays

We will make reasonable efforts to complete the project within the estimated timeframe.
However, delays may occur due to:

• Weather conditions

• Supply chain issues

• Changes requested by the client

• Unexpected site conditions

• Illness or health & safety concerns

Earthstone Design & Build Ltd will not be liable for delays outside our control.

8. Health & Safety

Earthstone Design & Build Ltd complies with all relevant health & safety regulations.
Clients must not interfere with tools, equipment, or work areas during the project.

9. Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel the project before work begins. Any costs incurred for materials, planning, or preparation may still be chargeable.

• If work has begun, the client will be charged for labour, materials, and any other costs incurred up to the cancellation date.

• Earthstone Design & Build Ltd reserves the right to cancel the project if working conditions are unsafe or if project expectations cannot reasonably be met.

10. Liability

Earthstone Design & Build Ltd is not liable for:

• Pre-existing structural defects

• Issues arising from incorrect instructions, client-supplied materials, or hidden conditions

• Indirect, consequential, or economic loss

Our liability is limited to the value of the contract.

11. Complaints

We aim to deliver high-quality work.
If you are dissatisfied, please submit your complaint in writing, and we will work to resolve the issue promptly and professionally.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of England and Wales.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By approving our quote, issuing instructions, or allowing work to begin, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
